The 4 Macy-Pan Investment Tiers
Tier 1: Entry Soft-Shell ($7,225-$9,150)
Models: ST801, ST901, ST702. These are lying-position soft-shell chambers at 1.3-1.5 ATA. Suitable for home wellness use, recovery protocols, and general HBOT exploration. The ST801 is the most common entry point. Includes chamber, compressor, and basic accessories. No physician supervision required for home use.
Tier 2: Sitting and Wheelchair Models ($10,050-$12,400)
Models: ST1700, ST2200, L1, MC4000. Sitting-position chambers accommodate users who cannot comfortably lie flat, and the MC4000 supports wheelchair entry. Better suited to clinic use or patients with mobility limitations. Higher price reflects the more complex pressurization engineering required for upright occupants.
Tier 3: Personal Hard-Shell ($40,500)
Model: HP2202. This is a 2.0 ATA monoplace hard-shell chamber, the entry point for pressure levels used in clinical HBOT protocols. At 2.0 ATA, this chamber can support physician-supervised medical treatment. Significantly higher upfront cost, but it bridges the gap between home wellness and clinical medicine. Not FDA cleared for US medical device sale, but CE certified.
Tier 4: Multiplace Systems ($61,500-$72,600+)
Models: HE5000 series. These treat 5+ patients simultaneously and are designed for clinical or commercial operators. Significantly higher installation requirements. At $61,500-$72,600, these are priced below equivalent US-manufactured multiplace systems from Perry Baromedical and Sechrist, which can exceed $200,000-$500,000.
“Macy-Pan soft-shell chambers range from $7,225 to $12,400 through authorized US resellers, while their 2.0 ATA hard-shell HP2202 lists at $40,500.”

Important: FDA Clearance Status
Macy-Pan chambers hold CE certification (European standard) but not FDA 510(k) clearance. In the United States, portable hyperbaric chambers are Class II medical devices. The three brands with FDA clearance are OxyHealth, Summit to Sea, and Newtowne Hyperbarics. This does not make Macy-Pan chambers illegal to purchase for personal use, but it means they cannot be marketed as medical devices for specific FDA-approved indications in the US. Verify the exact regulatory status with any reseller before purchasing for clinical use.3
Reseller Price Variation
Macy-Pan prices vary across authorized US resellers. Entry-level 1.5 ATA models have been listed as low as $2,507 on some reseller sites while others list the same brand starting at $8,250. This discrepancy likely reflects different models being compared and different reseller margin structures. Always compare the exact model number, not just the brand name, when shopping across resellers.
How Macy-Pan Compares to Alternatives
Macy-Pan’s soft-shell pricing ($7,225-$12,400) sits in the same range as OxyRevo ($8,499-$16,800) and above FDA-cleared options from Newtowne ($4,495-$10,995) and Summit to Sea ($6,995-$12,995). Their hard-shell HP2202 ($40,500) is competitively priced against comparable 2.0 ATA units like the OxyRevo Space60 ($42,999) and Airvida Elite ($45,999).
